Why uoGlobal?
As you know, one of the university's mandates and objectives for 2030 is to equip students with 21st century skills so that they can move successfully in an interconnected and internationalized labour market. In order to meet this objective, the uOGlobal recognition offers a program to develop the global skills and shape the values of global citizenship for students in all faculties at the University of Ottawa.
Since the program began in 2018, nearly 350 students have completed the requirements for the uOGlobal recognition. Students from all faculties have participated in the program. There are also scholarships available exclusive to uoGlobal participants.

Par son approche unique, l’Attestation uOGlobal guidera le développement de vos compétences mondiales et interculturelles et façonnera vos valeurs de la citoyenneté mondiale par le biais de cours en ligne, de formations, d’exercices de réflexion et à travers des possibilités d'apprentissage pratique et expérientiel.
uOGlobal offre un programme d’attestation divisé en 3 étapes:
Plan de formation personnalisé où chaque étudiant peut établir ses propres objectifs liés au profil de compétence uOGlobal;
Formation académique dans un contexte interdisciplinaire et interculturel;
Apprentissage par des activités pratiques et expérientielles en contexte de cours ou de travail et appui à la démonstration de ses compétences transférables auprès des employeurs.
How to participate:
Graduate students may participate in uOGlobal as either a student or a facilitator. Being a facilitator is a very rewarding and engaging experience, and is an excellent opportunity to practice teaching and leading a classroom of students.
