All about Coop - Pour les étudiant(e)s en MComm

Did you know that the Department of Communication, in collaboration with the University of Ottawa’s Co-op office, offers a co-op option to students in the MC program? The co-op option provides the opportunity to acquire practical work experience by completing two one-term paid work placements.
Here's an update on what's happening with the CO-OP program in light of COVID-19:
The (physical) CO-OP office is closed - but staff are working remotely
Interviews are being conducted by phone or via video
You can still meet with a CO-OP advisor by phone or on Microsoft Teams
For the Fall 2020 recruitment, placements are being done using a rolling format which means that students can apply for CO-OP positions as they're posted.
The majority of Fall co-op placements are "work from home".
Details on the Winter 2021 semester are pending.
